The story
Cairo Festival City is a mixed-use development in New Cairo, east of the Ring Road, created by the UAE-based Al-Futtaim real estate group and covering about 3 million square metres (roughly 700 feddans). It brings together housing, retail, hotels, entertainment, offices and international schools. The mall at its centre opened in November 2013 and is among the largest in New Cairo.
