A family shopping and leisure destination in 6th of October near the Pyramids plateau, home to Africa's first indoor ski slope and a large cinema.
The story
Mall of Egypt stands on Al Wahat Road in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, about 32 km west of central Cairo. It is owned and run by the Majid Al Futtaim group and officially opened in March 2017. It offers about 165,000 square metres of leasable space with local and international retailers and parking for roughly 6,500 cars. Family attractions include the Ski Egypt slope (which opened after the mall, reported in late 2018), a 21-screen cinema and the Magic Planet entertainment centre.
