The story
Qurnet Murai is a necropolis on the West Bank of the Nile at Thebes (Luxor), just south of Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It served as a cemetery for officials of the New Kingdom administration in Thebes. The site is a hill with 17 numbered tombs, most of them dating to the Ramesside period.
